No matter if you want a savory start to the day or something sweet, we have it on our menu! Here are 5 foods you’ll want to try at our breakfast restaurant in Gatlinburg:
1. Cinnamon Rolls
Our Gatlinburg restaurant is known for the giant cinnamon rolls! These delicious pastries are so large, you could split them with your entire table! There’s nothing better than starting your day with a sweet, gooey cinnamon roll covered in icing paired with a cup of coffee! Even if you don’t get one of these incredible pastries for breakfast, you should definitely get one to go!
2. Cherokee Sweet Corn Pone
With every food item on our menu, you will get a Cherokee Sweet Corn Pone with your meal. This authentic treat is similar to cornbread, but instead of being made with milk and eggs, the corn pone is made of cornmeal, water, salt, and oil. You’ll love trying our signature corn pone with the rest of your meal!
3. Cathead Stacker
For a hearty breakfast that will keep your energy up, you should get a cathead stacker sandwich. At our breakfast restaurant in Gatlinburg, a cathead is another word for a biscuit, and you won’t find a better southern biscuit in the area! For the stackers, you get to choose from fried or scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, fried bologna, and a few different cheeses to go on your sandwich. Cathead stackers are served with your choice of candied apples, fresh fruit, grits, or Hunt Camp potatoes!
If you have a huge appetite or you want to share with someone at your table, you can’t go wrong with any of the scramblers! The Splinter Maples Scrambler is made up of 3 scrambled eggs, red peppers, green onion, cheddar jack cheese, cilantro, zucchini, and grilled portabella mushrooms. The Jimmy Jose’s Scrambler is 3 scrambled eggs, shredded beef, peppers, onion, tomatoes, cheddar jack cheese, refried beans, Mexican rice, sour cream, and a warm corn tortilla. You can always try the Crockett’s Breakfast Quesadilla with scrambled eggs, cheddar and jack cheese, pico de gallo, and smoked bacon grilled in a flour tortilla that’s served with refried beans and Mexican rice.
5. Griddle Cakes
At our breakfast restaurant in Gatlinburg, you can’t go wrong ordering griddle cakes. These stacks are our version of pancakes, but they are thicker and fluffier than traditional pancakes. Pair your cake with chocolate chips, wild berry compote, or another topping of your choice. Other options include sausage links wrapped in a griddle cake and served with eggs, cinnamon roll swirl griddle cakes, buckwheat fruit and nut cakes, or the signature Aretha Frankenstein’s pancakes!
