At Crockett’s, we believe breakfast is the most important (and most delicious!) meal of the day, and we pride ourselves on Southern hospitality and fast service, but above all, hearty breakfast that satisfies the largest appetites. If you’re new to the Smokies or just never enjoyed a meal with us before, here are a few things you’ll love about our downtown Gatlinburg restaurant:

1. Longer breakfast hours

There are many things that make Crockett’s Breakfast Camp special, but our longer breakfast hours definitely sets us apart. We are open from 7 AM to 1 PM daily, so no matter how late you wake up in the morning, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with us. We also have a waitlist, so that when it’s extra busy, you can get in line before you arrive. We work hard to ensure our wait times are as minimal as possible so you’ll have plenty of time to savor your meal.

2. Thick griddle cakes

two thick pancakes from crockett's breakfast campNo limp, thin pancakes at our Downtown Gatlinburg restaurant! Our griddle cakes are 1 inch thick and perfectly golden brown, served with whipped butter and warm maple syrup. You can choose from a variety of specialty toppings as well, from chocolate chips and fresh berries to warm compotes and nuts. Another great way to enjoy our griddle cakes is by ordering Hogs in a Blanket, where they’re wrapped around country sausage links with eggs served on the side.

3. Hearty portion sizes

Our menu is made up of classic Southern comforts, like 3-egg omelets stuffed with meats, veggies, and cheese, and large plates such as steak and eggs or country-fried steak. Build your own Cathead biscuit or dig into a large breakfast burrito– there’s something for everyone! For those with a sweet tooth, we serve up thick slices of French toast, waffles, and of course, Aretha’s secret recipe griddle cakes. We can’t neglect to mention one of our most popular items, the giant cinnamon roll! But we take it one step further by offering a deep-fried cinnamon roll served with rich caramel sauce and real whipped cream– it’s like eating dessert for breakfast. Plus, you’re on vacation, so why not?

4. Convenient location

We’re steps away from shops and attractions, trolley stops, and close to the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Before a long day in the park or spending time at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies or Anakeesta, fuel up with a fantastic meal at Crockett’s! We also have parking available and handicapped spots, but it’s just as easy to walk from one of the parking areas along the strip or even from your Gatlinburg hotel.
