Every restaurant in Gatlinburg has their own signature dishes that they’re proud of. We’re one of them! We serve some things that other people do too, like eggs, omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and more. But there are a few things you won’t find on the menu of other places to eat breakfast, and you will want to visit us just to try them! Here are 7 of the most unique foods on our menu you’ll want to try:
1. Signature corned beef hash benedict
People rave about our signature corned beef hash benedict. Of course, you’ll find classic eggs benedict on any breakfast restaurant’s menu. But we slow cook our corned beef to perfection, then pan fry it with diced potatoes, green bell peppers, onions, and fresh herbs. All of the deliciousness is then placed on top of an english muffin with 2 over easy eggs and our homemade hollandaise sauce. While we like to think of ourselves as a casual eatery, you’ll feel like you’re at a fine dining establishment when you try our take on eggs benedict!
2. Our famous cinnamon roll
Another dish our restaurant in Gatlinburg is famous for is the cinnamon roll. These pastries are huge, almost as big as your head! We take care in making the dough, rolling it up, and baking it to perfection. Once the rolls are done, right before they come to your table, they are covered in our special cream cheese frosting!
3. The deep fried cinnamon roll
We wanted to step it up and take one of our signature dishes to the next level! We took our giant cinnamon roll and deep fried it for even more indulgence! We batter these pastries in an egg mixture and pan fry them to golden brown. Once on the plate, they are covered in caramel sauce and homemade whipped cream. Your mouth is probably watering just thinking about it!
4. Thick Aretha Frankenstein’s Pancakes
Every breakfast restaurant in Gatlinburg serves pancakes, but no one does them quite like us. You can’t even really call them pancakes; a better name is griddle cakes! Our signature griddle cakes are known as Aretha Frankentein’s pancakes, and they are over 1 inch thick! You could fill up just on these delicious cakes drizzled with warm butter and maple syrup.
5. Cherokee sweet corn pone
A food you probably won’t find on any other breakfast restaurant’s menu is the Cherokee sweet corn pone. This is a traditional spoon bread made with dried cranberries and served with almost every meal at our restaurant in Gatlinburg. And you don’t want to miss trying it!
6. Pot roast benedict
Another signature dish you’ll want to try is our pot roast benedict. We take our cat head biscuits and cover them in savory pot roast with sausage gravy, easy over eggs, and our homemade hollandaise sauce. You’ll also get to choose between candied apples, fresh fruit, grits, or Hunt Camp potatoes to go with your meal!
7. Pecan smoked bacon
Of course, bacon is a staple at any place you go to eat. But, you probably won’t find a pecan smoked bacon! The flavor that our bacon has is unlike any other, and the nuttiness complements the savoriness and sweetness in all of our dishes.
Our signature foods are out of this world, and you’ll think so too! Even if you don’t try one of these on our list, whatever you do get will be incredible. Have more questions about our food? Reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you have!
